My heat press automatically counts down and won't stop beeping when I plug it in.Updated a year ago

If you find that your HPN heat press is beeping continuously when you first power on the machine, it could simply be that the digital timer has reached zero. When the heat press is in the closed position the digital computer gauge will countdown to zero and beep when the press is ready to be opened. The beeping will continue until the digital timer is reset when the press has been opened. When opening and closing the heat press, you should be able to hear the click of the timer actuator switch. This switch activates the digital timer when the heat press is closed, and de activates it while it is open. If you do not hear this click or if the timer does not stop counting down when the heat press is in the open position, you may have to adjust the timer actuator switch. The lower arm structure bar of the heat press pushes against the aluminum metal arm of the switch. This small metal arm then pushes a button on the switch, disengaging the timer. If this is not happening, close the heat press and push the metal arm of the switch all the way up. With another finger gently bend the metal arm of the switch toward the lower arm structure bar. Be careful not to break the aluminum metal arm as it is very delicate. After it has been adjusted, it should resemble the shape of a boomerang. Once this has been done you should now be able to hear the click of the timer actuator switch when the heat press is in the closed position.
